What is Medicaid?
Depending on your income and family size, you or your family members may qualify for government-supplied healthcare, such as Medicaid. If you do qualify for Medicaid, there is no limited-enrollment period, meaning you can enroll at any time. Once you have Medicaid, you are considered covered and do not have to purchase healthcare through Nevada Health Link.
In Nevada, households with annual incomes of up to 138% of the federal poverty level may qualify for Medicaid. This is $16,753 per year for an individual, or $34,638 per year for a family of four (based on 2018 FPLs).

In Nevada, children living in households with an annual income of up to 200% of the federal poverty level may qualify for coverage through Nevada Check Up. This is $50,200 for a family of four (based on 2018 FPLs).
